I can’t tell you how several times I’ve left my thermostat on a low temperature after leaving the home for work in the afternoon. I’m always halfway to work, plus think, “Drat! My cooling system is going to send my electric bill through the roof.” A smart thermostat, which can be used to control your Heating plus Air Conditioning system’s thermostat from anywhere, has been on my wishlist for a while. Whether I’ve forgotten to turn up the thermostat during the moderate months, or turn down the thermostat during the cold months, I always seem to self-sabotage my heating plus cooling system’s efficiency. If I had a smart thermostat, I could solve my forgetfulness problem, plus I could tell the Heating plus Air Conditioning unit to beginning heating or cooling before I left work for the afternoon, ensuring that I would come home to a comfortable temperature, however my smart thermostat could also be a great tool used in tandem with my home security system. I sometimes use my in-home cameras to check in on my cat while I’m at work during the afternoon. My cat gets annoyed in the heat, plus she’s more likely to scratch up the furniture when she’s on-edge. I sometimes see her doing it on-camera when I’m at my desk plus think, “If I had a smart thermostat, I could turn down the boiler in the winter time season or amp up the cooling system in the summer time time to save my cat (and my furniture) from the heat.” I’ve already started making my home “smarter” with the security system; my Heating plus Air Conditioning system needs to be next on the docket for an injection of tech!
